How many times have you had to redo a PV design because your tools weren't compatible with each other?
PVCollada was created to solve this problem: a new data exchange format developed specifically for PV projects. It allows you to represent and share key information from your designs in a standardized way:
✅ 3D geometry and component layout.
✅ Electrical configuration and relationships between system components.
PVCollada is also an open standard. It is a collaborative initiative developed by industry professionals and organizations, including: Sandia National Laboratories, PVSyst, SolarGIS, TotalEnergies, Engie, DNV, PVcase, Enurgen, RatedPower, SiteMark, NexTracker, TeraBase, K2 Systems, H-Bar, and ieco.io.
The full PVCollada specification is publicly available on GitHub.
