Get your clients' load curves with DATADIS

What is DATADIS?

DATADIS is a web platform created by Spanish electricity distribution companies that allows centralised consultation of electricity consumption and contracted power.

Consumers can consult current and historical disaggregated information on all the supply contracts they hold and authorise third parties to access this information.

How can it help you if you work in the renewable and self-consumption sector?

There are 3 ways to get the load curves of your customers with DATADIS.

The first is to use DATADIS as if it were the website of another distributor or trading company of electrical energy. Your customer registers with DATADIS, downloads their consumption information and sends it to you by email. In this case, with a single registration, they will be able to download the information of all the supply points they own, regardless of the distributor or trading company of electrical energy, and the instructions for registration will be common to all your customers.

The second option is that your customer, after registering in DATADIS, authorises you to consult their information. In this way you will be able to access the load curves directly from your DATADIS account.

Sometimes asking your customer to register and give you access can be cumbersome and slow down the process. But there is a third option with which your customer does not need to interact with the platform. First you have to become a DATADIS partner. After that, you can apply for registration and access the load curves directly with only the express consent of your customer. If you want to know more about this last option you can consult the Datadis Partner Manual.

TIP

If you are authorised, you can download the load curve directly from ieco and attach it to your project.
