Can I do studies on collective self-consumption and energy communities?

At ieco we can help you with your collective self-consumption and energy community studies.

In particular, we can carry out detailed studies of generation, consumption and savings, optimising the hourly distribution coefficients and ensuring that your customers make the most of the plant's generation.

For the moment, this development is not integrated into the platform. From the Details section of each project you can select the type of installation "Shared", but for practical purposes it will behave as a residential self-consumption installation.

So, how can you access these studies?

Very easy:

  1. You make the design of the generation plant(s) with ieco
  2. You send us the hourly energy balance that you can download from the proposals section --> spreadsheet icon together with the consumption information of the members of the community
  3. We launch the optimisation process and send you back the distribution coefficient table in a format that you can send directly to the distributor and the results graphs so you can share them with your customers

In addition, if you have permissions and access to your customers' consumption data through Datadis, we take care of downloading all the hourly load curves. 🚀

What is the cost of the service?

The cost of this service is 120 € more:

  • 6 € per community member for residential use cases
  • 15 € per community member for industrial/commercial use cases

It is important to note that, if you are going to treat several members as having the same consumption behaviour, all these members will count as one for the service costs.

That is, if for example you want to do a collective self-consumption study in which there are 20 neighbours but you are going to consider 4 types of "typical" consumption (family of 4, family of 3, couple or individual flat), the total cost will be 120 € plus 4 * 6, i.e. 146 €.

The price also includes iterations and modifications to the study (e.g. if a new participant becomes interested or if you want to adjust the coefficients).

What is the average response time?

The average turnaround time is typically less than a week, although the first project may take 1 or 2 weeks due to adaptation needs of the results you may have. 🚀
