Drawing an obstacle on top of a roof
When designing a photovoltaic installation on a roof it is normal that you have to draw obstacles such as chimneys or ventilation elements. To draw obstacles on roofs:
- Click on Obstacle or on the X key and before drawing select the height and tilt characteristics that you want the obstacle to have.
WARNING
If the obstacle is placed on several roofs it will rest on the ground so be sure to select a sufficient minimum height to be able to modify it later so that it is not contained in the 3D roof.
- Draw the obstacle and exit drawing mode. In this case the obstacle has been drawn with an exaggerated height to prevent it from being hidden under the roofs.
- Adjust the minimum height to the desired height.
- By doing CTRL + C and CTRL + V you can easily copy and paste obstacles with the same characteristics.
