Have you ever considered the difference between EU efficiency and CEC efficiency?

The efficiency of an inverter varies continuously depending on various factors such as input power. However, in the specification sheet, you can find discrete values like EU (European) efficiency and CEC (American) efficiency.

These efficiencies are used to describe the efficiency curve of an inverter with a single numerical value. To do this, different importance or weight is given to specific points on the efficiency curve. EU and CEC efficiencies simply use different points on the curve and different weights to calculate the result.

At the top of this graph, you can see the CEC efficiency and EU efficiency values compared to a typical inverter efficiency curve, and at the bottom, you can see the distribution of weights used to calculate these values. 🚀
